Three-letter and telephony designators are assigned on a worldwide basis to an aircraft operating or servicing company for commercial domestic/international operations.
The designators support the Standards and Recommended Practices of Annex 10. ICAO’s designator assignments are intended to be a reflection of States’ lists. To avoid any discrepancy which could erode safety.
