Goal:
The course provides personnel involved in SMS/SSP with the competencies required to efficiently capture, assess and manage safety data contained in aviation safety reports, in accordance with ICAO Annex 19 and Doc 9859.
Learning Objectives:
After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Implement effectively regulations and procedures related to safety occurrence reporting,
- Implement functional requirements for safety occurrence reporting systems in accordance with applicable State regulations,
- Manage an effective safety occurrence reporting system by implementing data protection measures, applying suitable taxonomies and ensuring data quality to enable further conversion from safety data to safety information.
