Goal

The Airworthiness Approvals for Changing Aircraft Cabin Interiors Online Course aims to provide aviation professionals, including regulators, industry stakeholders, and engineers involved in aircraft cabin modifications, with a good understanding of the airworthiness approvals process for making changes to aircraft cabin interiors. 

 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to:

Evaluate challenges and trends in aircraft interior upgrades and understand the roles of States and bilateral agreements in modification approvals.
Understand the basis for modification approval, distinguish between types of modifications, and navigate the approval process effectively.
Identify cabin modification certification requirements and stakeholder roles, and explain the compliance demonstration processes.
Understand the responsibilities for the development of instructions for continued airworthiness, outline their requirements, and analyze external resources for ICA requirements.

Primary target audience: 

Civil Aviation Authority personnel (CAAs) and managers involved in aircraft airworthiness who are required to understand the certification requirements for the airworthiness of commercial aircraft undergoing changes to the aircraft cabin interiors.

 

Secondary target audience: 

  • Maintenance and inspection personnel, engineers, and technicians involved in designing and implementing cabin upgrades.
  • Airline operators, maintenance organizations, and aviation industry professionals interested in gaining insights into airworthiness approvals for cabin modifications. 

 

Certificate

The Final Exam consists of 32 multiple-choice questions. You require a grade of 80% to pass, and you are allowed 3 attempts. Upon successful completion of the exam, you will receive ICAO’s e-Certificate.
