Goal
Unmanned aviation affords States unique opportunities to deliver life-saving materials, monitor wildlife, support disaster management, inspect infrastructure and so much more. You will begin by reviewing some of the different types of UAS operations and gain a thorough understanding of BVLOS (beyond visual line-of-sight). Next, you will explore the tools available in ICAO's U-AID guidance material and learn how they can be applied when navigating an emergency event or when deploying humanitarian aid. You will also discover use cases for UAS in these types of situations as well as the organizations working to compile data about them.
