I’m having trouble downloading the document I just purchased?

 I have downloaded the document on my Windows or Mac computer but I am always seeing a "The document you are trying to load is protected by security features and requires Adobe Reader" message.

Once you have Adobe Reader installed, select the link to the Download the digital document and once the download is complete

1. Select the Arrow menu on the Download (depending on the web browser you have installed, this should be on the bottom left corner of your browser window)
2. Select Show in folder from the menu 
   
3. Right click the PDF file and select Open with Adobe Acrobat from the context menu
   
   
   

 I have an iPad and am having trouble downloading the document I just purchased?

Once you have the Adobe Reader app for iPad installed, select the link to the Download the digital document and:

1. Tap near the top of the document to open the Open In... menu
2. Select More...
3. Select Copy to Adobe Acrobat from the list of apps
   
   

I am having trouble logging into the document I purchased?

Your purchase of a digital document is for one individual user. A username and password to access the document will be provided to you via email. If you have forgotten your password or are having trouble logging into the document, please contact us at sales@icao.int

Is Adobe Reader free?

Yes. Adobe Reader is a free desktop software and mobile app.

 What are the capabilities of these digital documents?

• Files are in PDF format
• You will receive a user name and password to access the publication
• Your access entitles you to updates of this edition for a period of 5 years
• Annotations and copy and paste is permitted
• No editing of the original content is permitted
• Printing is not permitted

 Can I edit a PDF file using Adobe Reader?

No. You cannot make permanent changes to text or images inside PDF files using Adobe Reader.

How do I order digital documents for multiple users?

Unfortunately, the system will only allow purchase of one copy as each user will require a unique email address. Should you require multiple copies, please place new orders using different email addresses. For more information, please contact us at sales@icao.int
