This AIRAC-updated dataset is derived from raw ARINC 424-formatted aeronautical navigation data used for airborne navigation system databases. It extracts airport and heliport records from complex ARINC 424 source files and converts them into structured CSV tables ready for integration and analysis.
The dataset includes key aerodrome information such as airport or heliport identifier, ICAO code, customer area code, reference coordinates, airport or heliport elevation, magnetic variation, IFR capability, longest runway information, speed limit information, recommended NAVAID, transition altitude, transition level, public or military use indicator, time zone, daylight saving indicator, and airport or heliport name.
