TARGET POPULATION:  Aviation professionals and managers from Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAs), airlines, aerodrome operators, and other service providers involved in collecting, managing, reporting or making decisions using aviation data.

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:


At the end of this eLearning course participants will be able to apply the techniques of collecting, managing and analyzing aviation data in order to generate reports and interpret results for making effective decisions, managing risk and setting priorities for different civil aviation activities related to safety and air navigation.

 

The online course is divided into 5 modules with quizzes. Each module closes with a short quiz that allows participants to recall the content and ensure reinforcement of the key concepts before moving on to the next module. To successfully complete this online course, a grade of 80% or more is required to pass.

  • Differentiate among the various statistical analysis techniques

  • Identify the suitable tools for reporting and visual representation of analysis results

PURPOSE OF THE COURSE:


The Fundamentals of AD3M Programme is designed to explore the key concepts behind data-driven decision making.

 

NOTE: The Fundamentals of AD3M online course can be completed as a standalone (Part 1), but it remains a prerequisite for attending the Classroom course (Part 2): Application of Aviation Data-driven Decision Making (AD3M).

 

DURATION: Approximately 10 to 15 hours.

 

LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION: Only available in English.
